What the AI can and cannot see
iLinkVault uses AI to categorize your links and power search. Here is a plain, factual account of what that AI processes and what it does not. The authoritative reference is our Privacy Policy.
What the AI can see
To categorize your links and find them when you search, the AI processes the links you save and how you organize them:
- The links you save — their URLs, domains, titles, and descriptions
- Notes and any content you choose to save with a link
- Your categories and collections
- How you organize and categorize links (used to improve categorization)
What the AI cannot see
iLinkVault does not collect the following, so the AI has nothing of this kind to process:
- Your identity beyond what you provide (names, addresses, phone numbers)
- Financial information such as credit card details or payment methods
- Your location or GPS coordinates
- Your web browsing history outside the app
- Your social media accounts or posts
How your data is processed
iLinkVault handles AI processing automatically — there is no mode for you to configure. Some processing happens on your device, while AI features such as Ask Your Vault run in the cloud. Your data is stored both on your device and securely on our servers for synchronization, and it is never shared with third parties for advertising or tracking.
Private Vault
The AI does not process the contents of your Private Vault. Links you move there are hidden from the main library, search results, and link counts until you unlock the vault with Face ID, Touch ID, or your PIN.
Never shared with third parties
Your links and personal data are never sold, monetized, or shared with third-party services. They are used internally to provide sync, AI features, and safety. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.Frequently asked questions
