By using iLinkVault, you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms are designed to be fair, transparent, and protective of your rights as a user.

👤 User Eligibility
To use iLinkVault, you must:
- Be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction)
- Have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Not be prohibited from using the service under applicable law
🧑⚖️ Parental Guidance:
If you are under 18, you represent that your legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms.
✅ Acceptable Use
You agree to use iLinkVault only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:
- Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Save or organize links to illegal, harmful, or inappropriate content
- Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App
- Use the App to spam, harass, or harm others
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality or security
- Use automated systems to access the App without permission
- Distribute malware or malicious links through the App
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
🗂️ User Content and Data
Your Content: You retain ownership of all links, bookmarks, categories, collections, and other content you save in iLinkVault ("User Content"). You are solely responsible for your User Content and its compliance with applicable laws.
License to Us: By using the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and synchronize your User Content solely to provide the App's functionality, including:
- Cloud synchronization across your devices
- AI-powered categorization and suggestions
- Analytics to improve app performance
- Backup and data recovery services
Data Storage: Your data is stored both locally on your device and securely on our servers for synchronization purposes. We do not share your data with any third-party services.
🔒 Privacy First:
We do not sell, share, or monetize your personal data or bookmarks. Your links and browsing habits remain private to you and are only used internally to improve the app experience.
⚖️ Intellectual Property Rights
App Ownership: iLinkVault, including its design, code, features, and trademarks, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws.
License to You: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Restrictions: You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App or its content without our explicit written permission.
🛡️ Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Key privacy commitments:
- No Third-Party Data Sharing: Your data is never shared with external services
- Internal Analytics Only: Usage data is collected and processed internally to improve the app
- Secure Cloud Storage: Your data is stored securely on our servers with encryption
- User Control: Full user control over data export, deletion, and analytics preferences
- Transparency: Clear information about what data is collected and how it's used
🏪 App Store Terms
iLinkVault is distributed through the Apple App Store. Your use of the App is also subject to Apple's Terms of Service and App Store terms. In case of conflict between these Terms and Apple's terms, Apple's terms shall prevail regarding App Store-related matters.
💰 Subscriptions and Refunds:
- Premium features require an active subscription
- Subscription management is handled through Apple's App Store
- Refund requests should be made through the App Store according to Apple's refund policy
- Subscription terms and pricing are subject to change with notice
💳 Subscription Terms
Subscription Plans
iLinkVault offers the following subscription options:
- Free Plan: Limited to 100 links and 10 categories. No payment required.
- PRO Monthly: Unlimited links, categories, collections, cloud sync, and all premium features. Billed monthly.
- PRO Yearly: Unlimited links, categories, collections, cloud sync, and all premium features. Billed annually with 40% savings compared to monthly.
- Lifetime: One-time payment for permanent access to all premium features with no recurring charges.
Pricing
Subscription prices are displayed in your local currency within the iLinkVault app and may vary by region based on Apple's pricing matrix. Current pricing is available in the Apple App Store and within the iLinkVault app's pricing screen.
Prices are subject to change with prior notice. Any price changes will not affect active subscriptions until their next renewal period.
Payment and Billing
- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the current subscription price
- Lifetime purchases are one-time payments and do not auto-renew
Free Trial
New subscribers may be eligible for a free trial period as indicated at the time of subscription. If you cancel during the free trial period, you will not be charged. If you do not cancel before the trial period ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the then-current subscription price.
Managing Your Subscription
You can view, modify, and cancel your subscriptions at any time through your Apple ID account settings:
- Open the Settings app on your iOS device
- Tap your name at the top of the screen
- Tap Subscriptions
- Select iLinkVault
- Choose Cancel Subscription if you wish to cancel
You can also manage subscriptions within the iLinkVault app by going to Settings > Subscription.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to premium features until your subscription expires.
Cancellation and Refunds
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are provided
- Refund requests must be directed to Apple, as they process all subscription payments through the App Store
- Lifetime purchases are subject to Apple's standard refund policy (typically 14 days)
- We do not have access to or control over Apple's billing and refund processes
What Happens When Your Subscription Expires
If you cancel your subscription or allow it to expire:
- Your account will automatically revert to the Free Plan
- You will lose access to premium features including: unlimited links/categories, collections, cloud sync, web page archiving, full-text search, advanced export, collaboration features, and priority support
- Your existing data (links, categories, collections) will be preserved and remain accessible
- If you exceed Free Plan limits (100 links, 10 categories), your data will be view-only until you reduce usage or upgrade
- You will not be able to add new links or categories if over the Free Plan limits
- You can re-subscribe at any time to regain access to premium features
- No data will be deleted when your subscription expires

Premium subscriptions include:

- AI-powered categorization and summaries

- Collaboration features (share collections with team)
- Priority customer support
- Early access to new features
🆓 Free Plan Features:
- Up to 100 links
- Up to 10 categories
- Basic organization and search
- Local device storage only
Changes to Subscription Terms
We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing, features, and terms with reasonable advance notice. Changes will be communicated through:
- In-app notifications
- Email to your registered email address
- Updates to this Terms of Use page
Continued use of iLinkVault after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you may cancel your subscription as outlined above.
Disputes and Billing Issues
For any billing disputes, unauthorized charges, or subscription issues:
- Contact Apple Support first: As all payments are processed through Apple, billing disputes must be resolved through Apple's support channels
- Contact us: If the issue persists, email us at contact.ilinkvault@gmail.com with your Apple receipt number
- Allow 5-7 business days for investigation and response
Governing Agreement
All subscription purchases are subject to:
- Apple's Terms of Service
- Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

In case of any conflict between these terms and Apple's terms, Apple's terms shall prevail for matters related to subscription management, billing, and payment processing.
⚡ Service Availability
We strive to keep iLinkVault available and functional, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. The App may be temporarily unavailable due to:
- Maintenance and updates
- Technical difficulties
- Network connectivity issues
- Circumstances beyond our control
- App Store policies or changes
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time with reasonable notice.
🔄 Updates and Changes
App Updates: We may release updates to improve functionality, fix bugs, add features, or enhance security. Some updates may require your acceptance of revised terms.
Terms Updates: We may modify these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through the App or our website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Feature Changes: We may add, modify, or remove features based on user feedback and development priorities. Premium features may be added to or removed from subscription tiers.
⚠️ Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING:
- Warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
- Warranties regarding accuracy, reliability, or completeness
- Warranties that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted
- Warranties regarding third-party links or content
- Warranties regarding AI categorization accuracy
- Warranties regarding cloud synchronization reliability
You use the App at your own risk and discretion.
🚨 Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
- Damages resulting from unauthorized access to your data
- Damages from third-party links or services
- Data loss during synchronization or cloud operations
- Inaccuracies in AI-powered categorization
- Service interruptions or data synchronization delays
💰 Liability Cap:
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App or subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.
🤝 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:
- Your use of the App
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your User Content or data
- Your violation of third-party rights
- Your use of AI features or cloud synchronization
🔚 Termination
By You: You may stop using the App and delete it from your devices at any time. You may also cancel your subscription through the App Store.
By Us: We may terminate your access if you violate these Terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice.
📱 Effect of Termination:
Upon termination, your license to use the App ends. Your local data will remain on your device unless you delete it. Cloud data will be retained according to our data retention policies.
🔐 Security and Data Protection
Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
Data Breach Response: In the event of a data breach affecting your information, we will notify you within 72 hours and take appropriate measures to secure your data.
Encryption: All data transmission and storage uses industry-standard encryption protocols.
⚖️ Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the App shall be resolved through appropriate legal channels.
📄 Legal Provisions
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
Force Majeure: We shall not be liable for any failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, riots, fire, natural disasters, or government actions.
