Import your Chrome bookmarks

Bring years of Chrome bookmarks into iLinkVault in two steps: export them to a file, then import that file. Here is the quick version.

Step 1 — Export from Chrome

  1. Open Chrome on desktop

Bookmark export is available in Chrome on Mac, Windows, or Linux — not on mobile.
  2. Open the Bookmark Manager

Go to the three-dot menu → Bookmarks → Bookmark Manager.
  3. Export to HTML

In the Bookmark Manager, open its menu and choose Export bookmarks. Save the HTML file somewhere you can find it.

Step 2 — Import into iLinkVault

  1. Open the import option in iLinkVault

In iLinkVault, open your settings and choose the import option.
  2. Choose your HTML file

Select the bookmarks HTML file you exported from Chrome.
  3. Done

iLinkVault imports your bookmarks into your vault, keeping your folder structure as categories.
